Terms & conditions

These terms apply to all bookings made on this website for Hotel Tamizh Inn, 15 Valmiki Street, Thiyagaraya Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600017.

Bookings and payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹). GST is charged as per government rates: 5% for room tariffs up to ₹7,500 per night and 18% above that.
  • Online bookings are confirmed only after full payment through Razorpay. A GST invoice is emailed on confirmation.
  • While you complete payment, the room is held for 15 minutes. Unpaid holds are released automatically.

Check-in and stay

  • Check-in is from 12:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability and may be charged.
  • Every adult guest must show a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID). PAN card is not accepted as address proof.
  • Foreign nationals must present a passport and valid visa; the hotel submits Form C to the authorities as required by law.
  • The hotel may refuse check-in if valid ID is not produced. In that case the cancellation policy applies.
  • Children under 6 stay free when using existing bedding. Extra adults are charged per night.
  • Smoking inside rooms is not allowed. Pets are not allowed.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to hotel property caused during their stay.

Cancellation

Cancellations and refunds follow our cancellation policy.

Liability

The hotel is not responsible for loss of valuables not kept in the in-room safe or deposited with the front desk. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Chennai have jurisdiction.
